For a short while I lived in Chattanooga, TN. Apparently, I was not meant to be there as within a very short amount of time when I was offered a better paying job in Nashville, TN and moved back.
Chattanooga is an incredible town and I absolutely love it there. The history, the art, the people, the streets, hiking, tourist fun stuff is all good in Chattanooga, TN. Residing in Tennessee you can easily access this fun little town and make a great day trip out of it.
After I moved I kept in contact with the friends I made while I was living in Chattanooga, TN. It was fun to take off for the weekend and spend time with them. Over the years all have moved on to other places and I have lost track of all but one of them.
It has been a while since I have headed down and gone for a little day trip. Last year I found out a friend of mine here in Nashville relocated and while I was driving down there for a day trip, I gave him a call and we ended up having lunch. One of my favorite things about Chattanooga are the small Mom and Pop restaurants which offer affordable prices for their delicious food.
This past December a friend of mine and I went down to see the Polar Express in the huge IMAX theatre there. Even though I was absolutely exhausted after the movie and dinner, it was 100% worth the trip!
Want something to do this weekend? Get in your car and check out Chattanooga, you will be glad you did!
