Where does the year go? It is already June in 2015 we are going on half way to Christmas. It is amazing how the time changes as you get older. I recall being young on my parents farm and thinking how months were a year and a year was a decade.
I watch these days go by and turn into weeks and months. I am thankful as my life is better than it was a year ago, and most certainly better than it was two years ago. Yet, the road ahead of where I want to be seems daunting. There is so much I want to do, accomplish and places I want to travel, I don't know how I will be able to get it all done. I try not to fixate on where I want to be verses where I am currently, yet it weighs on me. I continue to keep my focus positive and hopeful, but there are days when I am simply discouraged. Where owning your own home brings on a whole new set of responsibilities, I look forward to mowing my own lawn, having a yard to plant flowers and put a garden. Have my chickens in the yard with a nice big hen house. Yes, it is a lot of work and added stress, but to have a kitchen of my very own! A nice comfortable couch to cuddle up with a handsome man all my own.
I keep hoping and praying it all comes together.
