LaCresha's Lens Focuses On...page 153...Scuba!

I am scuba certified for Open Water diving.  I had gotten into an online conversation with a guy who was actively diving and it seemed interesting.  Diving was something that had peaked my interest before, and then I got into the Clive Cussler books and I really wanted to see if I was cut out for it.  I signed up for the class, paid by fees and rental and I was diving!
I wish I had not backed off from diving, but life got a little crazy, I moved to Chattanooga, came back to Nashville and got super involved with caving.  Where I once wanted to get involved in cave diving, once I learned more about it, I think I am more suited for cavern diving.  The primary difference between the two is cavern diving you go into the entrance of a cave which is submerged underwater.  Cave diving, on the other hand, you go into the depths of the cave and explore.

Hopefully, with life showing me some changes, diving is something I can return to in the future.  Where I don't need to be completely emerged with this activity, I would like to dive the ocean in a few different places.  Being more comfortable with my gear would be nice as well.  Maybe that can be a goal I can look into next year, where I hope 2016 will be more settled for me.
