LaCresha's Lens Focuses On...page 129...Picture of the Week

I love photography, I have been brought back to photography in many of my various career and jobs.  It was my hobby for the longest time and now I am working to make it more of a full time gig.  For now, I am a freelance photographer for the Mid-South Horse Review. I also do photo sessions for a variety of clients.

Since a variety of stations do a "Photo of the Week" it has given me an idea to do my own.  Photos from my collection and files to share.
These photos are from the 2008 Country Music Marathon.  This event shuts down endless streets in this town.  If you want to get anywhere in Nashville on this day, you might as well wait until at least 11 am when they slowly begin to open up the streets.
It is a great event and it brings thousands to this town.  I had the opportunity to photograph the event for when I worked for HCA.  The company had a team and it turned into quite the event for those of us who volunteered.  It was a little exhausting by the time I parked, ran around the closed streets and tried to get into good spots to take the photos.
After about three years of participating I backed off and left HCA.  I certainly had my fill of that event and was glad to step away from that responsibility.  Here are a few pics from one of my years volunteering with HCA for that event.
