LaCresha's Lens Focuses On...page 138...Radnor Lake

There is a park very near the city of Nashville called Radnor Lake.  This lake and park is very popular with the residents of this town.  Many in this community fought to keep it a park and an area which could not be developed.
One thing Radnor is known for is their deer.  The photos in this post are of a doe I came across in a pond next to the lake eating the algae that had grown in the lake.  It was a lot of fun watching this doe on a hot day keeping herself cool while enjoying her meal.
Since there are so many visitors to this park, the deer are not easily startled.  I was able to get close to this buck pictured below without any concerns.  He and his friends hung out while I snapped a few photos before returning to the trail.
If you like nature, want to enjoy a different part of Nashville, I recommend Radnor Lake.  A nice little place to enjoy easy to moderate hiking trails.  You never know what you may come across while you are there.
